Travel Grants

ICME 2023 is pleased to provide travel grants on a highly competitive basis to student authors in both developed and developing countries. We will also offer limited grants to Professional Engineers (Proof of Chartered Certification in their Country of Residence required) who are authors based in developing countries. The grants will be awarded to a limited number of applicants who have a genuine need for support, and the paper quality will be taken into consideration.

IEEE membership along with membership of anyone of the following societies, Signal Processing Society, Communications Society, Circuits and Systems Society or Computer Society membership is required at the time when the application is made. Applicants who are not yet a member of one of those societies can join a society now and submit their applications.

Each awardee will be granted up to AUD 1500. The grants can only be used to cover the travel expenses for applicants to attend ICME 2023 (e.g. airfare, train and taxi etc). The grants, if approved, will be on a reimbursement basis following instructions given to grantees. The ICME 2023 travel grant selection and oversight committees reserve the right to make the final decision regarding all applications.
